This is in direct contradiction to the fact that Indigenous Sovereignty has been recognized and upheld by the Parliament of Canada 28-0 and has been recognized and upheld by the parties of the NEW Government of B.C. Why would the Liberal Government and the AFN decide to be SO DIVISIVE on the truth of Indigenous Sovereignty?
INDIGENOUS SOVEREIGNTY IN B.C.
In B.C. people are moving forward with real truth and reconciliation, recognizing and upholding the truth of Indigenous Sovereignty. In Ottawa, the Liberal Government and the AFN are moving backwards by deleting Indigenous Sovereignty from their Memorandum of Understanding, or as we now call it their Memorandum of Misunderstanding? What are they going to ELIMINATE NEXT?
PARLIAMENT OF CANADA 28-0 RESULT
Given that the Question ‘Do you recognize and uphold Indigenous Sovereignty?’ has already been put to the Parliament of Canada and The Parliament of Canada 28-0 recognized and upheld Indigenous Sovereignty. Given that the NEW Government of B.C. recognizes and upholds Indigenous Sovereignty. Given that Canada was founded on the legal Sovereignty of Indigenous Sovereign Nations, why is the Liberal Government and the Assembly of First Nations DELETING Indigenous Sovereignty from their Memorandum of Understanding?
